Welcome to Spokane County

Summer in the Inland Northwest is a great time to enjoy the beauty of Spokane County.

For example, play a round of golf at one of our excellent courses, stroll along the Centennial Trail, or explore the Dishman Hills Natural Area and the dramatic basalt outcroppings known as "Big Rock" and the "Rocks of Sharon" in south Spokane County. To get started, go to the new Stevens Creek Trailhead - the latest addition to the Dishman Hills Conservation Area.

As you can tell, there are plenty of reasons to soak up some sunshine and explore nature in Spokane County!

The Spokane County Sheriff's Office reminds motorists that it's summer break for public schools. The Sheriff's Office urges motorists to use extra caution when traveling around school zones, parks and swimming pools.

County Golf Courses in Excellent Condition!

All three Spokane County golf courses are in excellent condition! And...Spokane County’s Parks, Recreation and Golf Department has a new tee time booking system for the golf courses. Call one county golf course and you’ll be able to reserve tee times for ANY other county courses. For example, call Liberty Lake and you can also reserve tee times for MeadowWood and Hangman Valley!

Hangman Valley Golf Course – (509) 448-1212

Liberty Lake Golf Course – (509) 255-6233

MeadowWood Golf Course – (509) 255-9539
