2/18 to 2/20/14: ICS 300 Intermediate ICS for Expanding Incidents: The Spokane Department of Emergency Management will be hosting and ICS 300 Course, February 18 to 20th of 2014.  The course will be held from 07:30 to 16:00 the 18th and 19th and 07:30 to 12:00 on the 20th.  The course will be held at the Spokane Fire Training Center (FTC), located at 1618 N. 3/11 to 3/12/14: ICS 400 Advanced ICS: The Spokane Department of Emergency Management will be hosting and ICS 400 Course, the 11th and 12th of March, 2014.  The course will be held from 07:30 to 16:00 the 11th and 07:30 to 14:00 the 12th.  The course will be held at the Spokane Fire Training Center (FTC), located at 1618 N. 3/18 to 3/20/14: Social Media for Natural Disaster Response and Recovery  Training: The National Disaster Preparedness Consortium (NDPTC) will be offering a free, one day course targeted at a broad cross section of individuals and professionals interested and involved in emergency management, planners, as well as communication and public information personnel.  The course will be offered 18 March, at WSU, Pullman and 19 & 20 March, at the Fire Training Center, Spokane, WA. 

To register: Connect to the NDPTC link ndptc.hawaii.edu/training, from the NDPTC website, scroll down to the date of the offering you would like to register.  Click the link to “Register” for this course.  Create an account.  You will need to provide and/or get a FEMA Student Identification Number (SID), here's the link cdp.dhs.gov/femasid/ Once a user profile is created you will be sent an email to complete your registration.  Once registration is completed, you must complete an online pre-test prior to start of class.  You can view course logistics and download the appropriate course materials as well.  Pullman 18th, Spokane 19th, Spokane 20th

6/3-6/6/14:   Incident Command System (ICS) Train the Trainer (L-449)Course, 3-6 June, 2014:  Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) through the Washington State EMD will be putting on an L449 T-t-T course.  The objective of the course is to prepare participants to deliver FEMA’s ICS 100, 200, 300, 400, and 402 courses. The course will be hosted by the Spokane Department of Emergency Management at 1618 N.
