Courthouse Tower Turns Pink to Support Race for the Cure

The Spokane County courthouse tower will glow with pink lights, beginning on Friday, April 18th and continuing through Sunday, April 27th – when the annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure© winds its way through downtown Spokane.
Race for the Cure is the largest series of 5K runs/fitness walks in the world, and raises significant funds and awareness for the fight against breast cancer, celebrates breast cancer survivorship, and honors those who have lost their battle with the disease. Since its inception in 1983, the Komen Race for the Cure series has grown from one local Race to a global series of more than 150 Races with more than 1.6 million people expected to participate in 2014.
For more information and/or to register for the Eastern Washington Race for the Cure, call (509)  315-5940, or send an email to info@komeneasternwashington.org
