Detention and Alternatives
Detention
Community Service Program
Serves all youth under the jurisdiction of Juvenile Court: Probation, Diversion, Truancy and At-Risk-Youth. Youth have the opportunity to take active responsibility for their actions to repair and make amends, at least symbolically, to the damage that resulted from their poor choices and criminal activity. Learn more about the Community Service Program.
Electronic Monitoring (EM)
The Electronic Monitoring Program is a cost effective alternative to juvenile detention. Participants on EM must remain in their residence unless pre-approved to attend school, employment, medical, and legal appointments. State law defines electronic monitoring as "confinement so youth earn credit for time served on EM." Learn more about Electronic Monitoring.
Evening Reporting Program
The Alternative Detention Evening Reporting Program is a 1-30 day program developed as an alternative to 24 hour secure detention for juvenile offenders. Learn more about Evening Reporting Program.
SAC School
The SAC School serves our community by promoting education, accountability, and positive change for delinquent and truant youth. The SAC school serves over 200 students annually. Learn more about SAC School.
