Spokane County Raceway
The Spokane County Raceway (SCR) facility is located in the City of Airway Heights and boasts a drag-strip, half-mile oval track, and 2.5 mile road course. SCR is gearing up for its second full season and we're pleased to announce the selection of a new operator - the partnership of Ron Hodgson and Charlie Allen!

About the New Operators
Ron Hodgson is a successful businessman out of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada who has been involved in professional racing for over 40 years. He operated Edmonton International Speedway during the 1970's and currently co-owns Castrol Speedway, also in Edmonton. Mr. Hogson's racing career includes multiple NHRA and AHRA National Event wins and was inducted into the Canadian Motorsports Hall of Fame in 2001.
Charlie Allen is also a skilled businessman and race competitor in his own right. He has owned and operated the Firebird International Raceway in Chandler, Arizona since 1983. The facility has hosted hundreds of events, including Speed TV's "Pinks All Out," the Lucas Off Road Championship, and the Monster Truck Nationals. Prior to his involvement with Firebird, Mr. Allen operated the famed Orange County International Raceway in Southern California.
Together, these gentlemen bring decades of successful racetrack management and experience to Spokane County Raceway. An additional bonus to this partnership is that SCR will immediately gain support from two of the most successful racetracks in North America.
