Many Spokane County Offices Closed in Observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day on January 20th

In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, most Spokane County offices will be closed on Monday, January 20, 2014. The Spokane County Courthouse (including Municipal, District and Superior Courts), Public Safety Building, Veterans Services, and SCRAPS will also be closed. However, several departments will remain open to serve the public:

• Public Works:
   o Engineering and Roads Division – OPEN
   o Utilities Division – OPEN
   o Building and Planning – CLOSED
• Sheriff’s Office, including non-emergency functions and services.
• To report a crime, call Crime Check at 456-2233
• Call 9-1-1 to report a life-threatening emergency or if you need
an immediate response by law enforcement.

Please join Spokane County’s administration and staff on Monday, January 20th at 9:00 a.m. in the Convention Center for the Martin Luther King, Jr. Remembrance Celebration and Unity March.
