In Person filing begins at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, May 12, 2014, and ends promptly at 4:00 p.m. Friday, May 16, 2014. The completed candidate filing form and the payment of any filing fees must be submitted to the filing officer by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, May 16, 2014.
Incomplete forms or illegible forms will not be returned for completion or clarification after 4:00 p.m. on Friday, May 16, 2014. More information about candidate filing may be found at www.spokanecounty.org/elections.
Online Filing begins at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, May 12, 2014, and continues through 4:00 p.m. on Friday, May 16, 2014. All candidate filing fees must be received by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, May 16, 2014. More information about online candidate filing may be found at www.spokanecounty.org/elections.
Filing fees are nonrefundable, even if you withdraw or file for the wrong office. Only single office filings are allowed. Excluding the office of precinct committee officer, no person may file for more than one office.
Withdrawal of candidacy forms must be received by the filing officer by 4:00 p.m. on Monday, May 19, 2014, if you decide you do not want your name on the ballot. Withdrawal forms are available at the Spokane County Elections Office or online at www.spokanecounty.org/elections. The form must be properly completed and signed. Filing fees are nonrefundable, even if you withdraw or file for the wrong office.
