Recently the Assessors Office added tax district budgets and tax levy calculations to the assessor webpage. Currently only the 2009 tax year is available, but you can anticipate historic and future year updates soon. To see tax district budgets and levy calculations, go to the assessor website http://www.spokanecounty.org/assessor and enter a parcel number or address in "Parcel Information Search" located in the left margin. After selecting "Go", the next step is to "Agree" with the disclaimer.

When the parcel information appears, scroll down to "TAX STATISTICS" ... select any 'rate' appearing in the light blue "link" and it opens all the documents that support the development of that rate. (Note: Any light blue font is a link to another area, simply drag your mouse to it & click)

Example: County General's 2009 levy of 1.15 once selected, opens a PDF document containing the levy limit calculation sheet followed by the levy certification & refund request (similar documents are not yet prepared for the 2008 tax year). Any levies that were voter approved will ultimately have a copy of the ballot certification too (not all have been updated, but that is our intention).

Please note: if a 'pop-up blocker' is activated, it may prevent the PDF documents from opening.
