Board Members and Staff

Five members serve on the Boundary Review Board for Spokane County. Two members are appointed by the governor, one by the mayors of the city and towns in Spokane County, one by the Spokane County Board of Commissioners and one by the special purpose districts. Board members are residents of the County and serve for four year terms. They are not allowed to hold other local government elected or appointed positions or jobs. Their compensation is $50 per day for work on Board business. Members may not properly discuss proposals under their consideration outside of the public hearing (ex parte communications).
