| Welcome! The year 2010 is proving an ever-increasing difficult time as everyone’s budget gets a little tighter. However, there is no better time for a fair than this year, a year in which everyone could use a break. This year we have great acts in the Grandstand such as the PRCA Rodeo, Demolition Derbies, and five great nights of concerts. Whether it is escaping the everyday world by enjoying a few hours of fun, bringing your family for a day of fun, or enjoying some vacation time...live it up and check out all the fun activities that we offer across all 10 days of the Fair. The 2010 Spokane Interstate Fair - It's an AG-Venture. Don’t miss out! Mark your calendar for September 10 to 19. See you at the Fair! Ben Wick, Advisory Board Chair

Bonnie Sewell serves as the Agriculture Building Superintendent during the Interstate Fair. She began serving as Superintendent of the building in 1997 overseeing the departments of Bees / Honey, Eggs, Creature Feature, Wine, Beer, Horticulture, and Cereals and Forage. She also oversees employees that put in approximately 3,000 hours during the Fair. Bonnie resides in the Spokane Valley and is often times found teaching ceramics. She judges various fairs around the State in crafts as well as State Grange competitions. Speaking of Granges, this year the Grange booth displays will also be found in the Agriculture Building under the direction of Bonnie Reed and Carol Evans.
From tomatoes to giant pumpkins, scarecrows to hay king, pumpkin carving contests to the Hen House, touch and feel vegetable table to wine bottle labels, the Agriculture Building has TONS to see during the Fair each year. We are so very grateful that we have Superintendents such as Bonnie Sewell to help oversee over 15,000 competitive exhibits entered into the Interstate Fair each year. Thank you!
