First Half Property Taxes Due April 30th

April 25, 2014 County Treasurer's Office
(509) 477-4713

Spokane County Treasurer Rob Chase reminds property owners that their property taxes for the first half of 2014 are due on Wednesday, April 30th as per Washington State law. If payments are mailed to the Treasurer’s Office through the U.S. Postal Service, they must be postmarked on or before the due date (RCW 1.12.070).

Those mailing their property taxes by depositing them in a U.S. Postal Service box or station, should do so early enough so they are postmarked before the tax deadline. State law dictates that County Treasurers recognize only the cancellation date applied by the U.S. Postal Service to determine the timeliness of payments.

Payment options include ACH, debit and credit cards via the Internet, in office, or through the County Treasurer’s phone system by calling (509) 477-4713 and pressing option #2.

ATTENTION: Spokane County Treasurer’s Office hours are Monday-Thursday from 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. On Friday, their hours are from 8:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
