Regional Council of Governments Focuses on Economic Development, Transportation, Fairchild AFB, and Storm Damage

The Spokane Regional Council of Governments will convene on Friday, September 5, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. in the Conference Facility at the Fair and Expo Center (404 N. Havana, Spokane Valley). The meeting will be preceded by the opening ceremony of the 2014 Spokane County Interstate Fair. Please join us for the opening ceremony which will begin promptly at 9:30 a.m. at the Main Entrance to the Fair and Expo Center (404 N. Havana, Spokane Valley), just north of Avista Stadium and at the east end of the main parking lot.

The Council of Governments brings together elected officials and public policy administrators from throughout Spokane County to discuss issues of regional importance; including this month’s topics of economic development, transportation, Fairchild AFB, and the storm damage the occurred this summer.
