Spokane County Planning Commission Seeks to Fill Three Vacancies

The Spokane County Planning Commission has three vacancies that need to be filled as soon as possible. The Planning Commission is an advisory board to the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC). Members are appointed by the BOCC to serve not more than two four-year terms.

The Planning Commission consists of seven members who meet on a monthly basis (typically the third Thursday), and may meet more frequently as needed. Planning Commission responsibilities include review of official controls, amendments to official controls/development regulations, Comprehensive Plans, and providing recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners.
