On the payment worksheet, you will need to enter the parcel number of the
property you are paying taxes on. This number is listed in the upper left of
your property tax bill. If you do not know the number, you can search the
online tax records by pressing the SEARCH button on the payment worksheet. You
can search the tax records by the street address of the property.

Once you have entered the parcel number, you will be given three options.
Option one is to pay the minimum property tax amount due on the property. This
is the default selection. Option two is to pay all property tax amounts owing
on the property. You may select an amount by pressing the button to the left of
the amount you want to pay. Option three is to remove a parcel number once you
have entered it by pressing the "Remove Parcel" button to the left of the parcel
number.

You can enter up to 10 different parcel numbers to pay on one worksheet. Once
you have completed entering all the information for a parcel, the cursor will
automatically move you to the next parcel number field. If you want to make
payments on additional parcels, simply follow the steps outlined in items 1 and
2. A running total of the amounts you have selected for payment are maintained
at the bottom of the worksheet. Once you have entered all the amounts you wish
to pay, go to item 4 of these instructions.

Once you have selected all the parcel numbers and amounts you would like to pay
hit the "Start Payment" button. On the next page you will
be given the opportunity to print a copy of the parcel numbers and amounts you
have selected for payment. While printing a copy is not required to continue
processing the transaction, we do recommend you keep a copy for your records.
On this page you also select if you want to pay by e-Check or by Credit Card.
For payment by e-Check,
SpokaneCounty Spokane County Treasurer's Office has an agreement with US Bank to provide its customers
with automated e-Check payment services. US Bank will charge you a small convenience
fee for this service (currently $1.00), which you will be notified of before you complete
your payment. Spokane County Treasurer's Office does not receive any portion of
this convenience fee.The check you
create will authorize the bank to debit your account today (the day you
authorize the transaction) for the total amount of the transaction.
For payments by Credit Card, Spokane County Treasurer's Office has an agreement
with Official Payments Corporation to provide its customers with automated credit
card payment services. Official Payments Corporation will charge you a convenience
fee for this service, which you will be notified of before you complete your payment.
Spokane County Treasurer's Office does not receive any portion of this convenience
fee.
