Purpose

The City and County of Spokane jointly own Spokane International Airport, Felts Field Airport, and the Airport Business Park. The Spokane Airport Board is mandated to provide the Spokane area citizens with the best possible airport administration, facilities and services. Meeting this mandate within the framework of limited airport generated revenues and a balanced budget is a burdensome task assumed by the Board. This goal may be achieved only through prudent management of airport generated revenues since no other funds are available.

Responsibilities/Time Commitment

Members of the Airport Board must possess proven leadership qualities permitting them to render sound business decisions. Successful experience in the highest levels of business, finance, construction, administration and civic affairs, knowledge in the field of aviation and an uncompromising willingness to devote a substantial amount of time and personal expense are essential qualities of Board Members.
