Price & Wall Regional Stormwater Facility

The Price and Wall Regional Stormwater Facility was a water quality retrofit project constructed in 2008 and is located approximately five miles from the city center. This project was part of a master capital improvement plan, built in advance of the expected restoration of Country Homes boulevard which is the conveyance avenue to the Price and Wall facility.

This project involved the construction of a low-impact stormwater system that was designed to fit the natural topography of the existing 8-acre parcel, remove pollutants from stormwater discharges through large flat bio-infiltration ponds, while at the same time providing wetland protection, enhanced wildlife habitat, native vegetation and passive recreation in the form of benches and walking trails. The project also contains interpretive signs in three locations to educate the public about the watershed and water quality aspects of the project.
