Fair Ambassadors


The Interstate Fair selected four young adults to serve as the 2015 Fair Ambassadors. Selected were Brianna Fields (Spokane Community College), Kyra Fromm (North Central HS), Caleb MacLean (Joel E Ferris HS), and Madyson Seward (Central Valley HS). The Ambassador's Award, given to any one, any exhibit, or any booth was awarded to VFW (food vendor).

Special Award Winners


Each year the Fair gives four outstanding achievement awards to exhibitors at the Spokane County Interstate Fair for their efforts. This year's Red, White and Blue Award winners were:

  • Raindrop Rain Gutters (Outside Commercial)
  • Pennsylvania Dutch Funnel Cakes (Food Booth)
  • Watkins (Best Incorporation of Fair Theme)

Best Fair Food Awards


A program started in 2011 has three to five culinary judges from the Inland Northwest present on the first Saturday of the Fair with the task of selecting the best fair food.  The 2015 winners were:
  • Azar’s for their Greek Nachos (Best Signature Item)
  • Big Bear Chocolates for their Triple Chocolate Salted Caramel Apple (Best Dessert)
  • Aebleskivers / Philly Express for their Buffalo Chicken Philly (Most Creative)
  • SandwicHAVEN for their Buffalo Loaded Mac and Cheese Bites (Best Deep Fried)
