The goal of the Community Development Board is to improve the quality of life of Spokane’s low and moderate income citizens through actions promoting affordable housing, a clean environment, access to human service programs, expanding economic opportunities and the encouragement of citizen participation within neighborhoods.
The Envision Center
The Spokane Resource Center combines the knowledge and services of 15 community agencies to provide wrap-around support to help you achieve economic security. The services provided at the Spokane Resource Center are tailored to meet the Four Pillars of Opportunity identified by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development which are:

- Educational Attainment
- Health and Wellness and
- Character and Leadership
Each of these areas of personal and professional development rely on and are strengthened by each other. The Spokane Resource Center provides services and resources to help you ensure that all aspects of your personal and professional life are addressed in order to increase your opportunities.
Community Indicators
The Community Indicators of Spokane seeks to improve local, public decision-making by providing relevant data in an easily navigable website. The data will offer neutral information for all parties involved in public policy issues.

Spokane Homeless Coalition is a collaborative effort of the individuals and agencies who address the challenges of homelessness in our community.
