Spokane County is lucky to have so many different volunteer groups interested in keeping our region clean. To learn more about organizing your own community clean-up, visit our Team Up to Clean Up page. To request a site clean-up of supplies for volunteer groups, view the "Geiger Work Crew" information below or email/call Sgt. Tim Atchison at TATCHISON@spokanecounty.org or 509-477-1545.

Geiger Work Crew
The Geiger Work Crew, a program managed by Spokane County Detention Services, helps keep Spokane County clean and green thanks in part to funding from Ecology's Community Litter Cleanup Program (CLCP). This map shows the routes where the Geiger Crew(s) routinely pick up litter in Spokane County.
The CLCP funds a variety of crews including youth and adult volunteer crews, juvenile rehabilitation crews, and state and local correctional crews made up of offenders doing either community service or jail time. For more information on litter statistics and clean-up groups, visit Washington State Department of Ecology.
