The Spokane County Public Records Office is the primary point of contact for public records requests pursuant to the Washington State Public Records Act (RCW 42.56).

The Public Records Office was established in 2018 to assist the public by facilitating public records requests and to support Spokane County employees with public records management, retention, and disclosure.

Our mission is to promote transparency and responsible stewardship of public records.

Schedule

The Public Records Office does not have a public counter. However, the office is open from 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Monday through Friday, and can be reached by telephone or email during those hours. You can also submit public records requests online via our GovQA Public Records Portal.
