Red Diamond Construction completed project construction in June 2020
The initial work will be completed while maintaining two-way traffic on Mill Road. Full closure of Mill Road will begin in late April depending on weather and rate of work. The detour route will utilize Hastings, US395, Wandermere Road and Dartford Drive. Local access to properties within the project limits will be maintained. Some aspects of the work will require local traffic to access their destination from the opposite end of the project limits than they normally would. This is due to pipe laying, paving and other operations that don’t allow safe passage of traffic. Spokane County and the Construction Contractor will communicate these instances as well as possible. These temporary impacts will be minimized as much as possible and the patience of the travelling public is greatly appreciated.
A typical roadway section, striping plans and temporary traffic control detour route can be found in the links below.
A pre-construction informational open house was planned to precede the work, but was cancelled due to restrictions on meetings associated with COVID-19.
