Spokane Valley Assistant Police Chief Sean Walter began his law enforcement career with the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office in 1999. During that time, he has worked as a Corrections Officer, Patrol Deputy, Detective, Sergeant, Lieutenant, and also holds the rank of Inspector with the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office.
He has been a member of the Corrections Response Team, TAC Team, SWAT Team, and the Eastern Washington Joint Fugitive Task Force as a Special Deputy United States Marshall.
During Assistant Chief Walter’s career with the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office, he has been awarded the Purple Heart and several Unit Merit awards.
Assistant Chief Walter is currently assigned as the Precinct Commander for the Spokane Valley Police Department.
