
Fatal Motorcycle Crash Near 29th & Lloyd
Spokane County Sheriff’s Traffic Unit Investigators are at the scene of a one vehicle fatality motorcycle crash on 29th Avenue near Lloyd. Please use an alternate route as 29th Avenue, between Havana and Lloyd, will be closed during the investigation.
This morning, just prior to 3:30 a.m., Spokane County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to an injury crash on 29th near Lloyd.
Deputies arrived to found the adult male driver of a motorcycle severely injured. Fire and medical personnel arrived but unfortunately, the driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Preliminary information indicates the motorcycle was traveling eastbound when it left the roadway and crashed.
Traffic Unit investigators were called to the scene to continue the investigation. 29th will remain closed for several hours between Havana and Lloyd while the scene is processed.
SIRT Volunteers are providing traffic control during this time and ask drivers to use an alternate route for their morning commute.
The Spokane County Medical Examiner’s Office will release the name of the driver along with cause and manner of death when appropriate to do so.
