[ARCHIVED] SCEO Approves Amendment to Revise County-Wide Planning Policies


A public hearing was held October 18, 2017 to discuss proposed amendments to the Countywide Planning Policies related to the Land Quantity Analysis Methodology.   The Planning Technical Advisory Committee provided a written report to the SCEO and recommended approval of the proposal. Oral and written testimony on the proposed amendments expressed support for the proposal. A revision to Step 6 of the methodology was proposed to include wording for consistency with the Land Quantity Analysis Methodology and the Growth Management Act.  At the conclusion of the public hearing, the SCEO recommended unanimous approval of the proposed amendments to the Land Quantity Analysis Methodology.
