Major Crimes Investigating Suspicious Death as Possible Homicide

Spokane County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Detectives are investigating the suspicious death of a male discovered this morning in the bathroom of his residence by a family member’s caregiver as a possible homicide.

This morning, at approximately 9:15 a.m., Spokane County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to a residence in the 8600 block of N. Whitehouse Drive. The call was initiated by a caregiver who stated she arrived at the residence to provide assistance to a family member living there and discovered an unconscious male, covered in blood, in the bathroom.

Spokane County Fire District 9 arrived at the location and immediately provided medical assistance, but their efforts were unsuccessful, and the male was pronounced deceased at the scene.
