
UPDATE: Missing Adult’s Body Recovered & Identified
Spokane County Sheriff’s Office Deputies were called to an area in the 26300 block of Appleway Ave. regarding a deceased person. The remains, which appeared to have been subjected to the elements for an extended amount of time, were identified as missing person, Donna Kemp.
On January 14, 2018, at approximately 11:00 a.m., Deputies responded to a deceased person found by hikers in creek/drainage culvert area.
Deputies contacted Spokane County Medical Examiner’s Office personnel who responded and took possession of the remains. Additionally, Spokane County Major Crimes Detectives were later advised of the recovery for additional follow-up.
The deceased was identified as Missing Person Donna Kemp who was last seen after she walked away from her residence on December 27, 2017. There were no obvious signs of homicidal violence and it appears she succumbed to exposure.

Missing Adult: Donna M. Kemp
Spokane County Sheriff’s Office Deputies are attempting to locate 58-year-old Donna M. Kemp who was last seen leaving her residence in the 3600 block of S. Molter Rd. after an argument on December 27, 2017 at approximately 9:30 a.m.
Donna Kemp was last seen walking east from her residence. She didn’t take her cell phone, clothing, or any money with her and has not contacted any of her family, who are very concerned for her welfare.
Donna Kemp is described a white female, 5’06”, approximately 120 lbs., with gray hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing a white and green Columbia jacket, a dark colored long sleeve shirt, dark pants, dark winter boots and carrying a dark colored purse.
