[ARCHIVED] Public Hearing to consider Spokane County Zoning Code Amendment

The purpose of the public hearing is to consider oral and written testimony both for and against a proposed amendment (18-ZTA-01) to the Spokane County Zoning Code.  The proposed amendment would allow for accessory uses that are classified as nonagricultural uses or activities in areas zoned as Resource Lands, under limited circumstances.  This is consistent with changes to the Growth Management Act, specifically RCW 36.70A.177, which was brought on by passage of Substitute House Bill 2917 in June of 2006.  This proposal is part of Spokane County's periodic update of the Comprehensive Plan and associated development regulations.

The Spokane County Planning Commission pursuant to Chapter 35.70A RCW, that a public hearing will be held at 9:00 a.m. or as soon as possible thereafter and concluding with the last speaker or at 5:00 p.m., whichever comes first.  If necessary, the hearing may be continued.
