
Geiger Work Crew Inmate Serving Misd. Sentence Walks Away
This afternoon, Spokane Valley Deputies were advised a Geiger Work Crew Inmate 21-year-old Devontay J. Hood walked away from his assigned work detail at the Spokane Interstate Fairgrounds. Hood was being held on a misdemeanor traffic charge.
On May 16, 2018, at approximately 1:10 p.m., a Geiger Work Crew Corrections Officer reported Hood walked away from his work detail mowing grass at the fairgrounds.
Spokane Valley Deputies responded to the area to search for Hood but were unable to locate him.
Hood, who has been assigned to the work crew since the beginning of March, was in custody for a misdemeanor traffic offense and was serving his sentence.
Devontay J. Hood is described as a black male, 5’05”, approximately 140 lbs, with black hair and brown eyes.
