Canines for K9s: A Furry Family Fun Day & Dog Walk
• September 18th, 2016
• 10:30 a.m.
• Mirabeau Meadows, Spokane Valley
• 13500 Mirabeau Pkwy, Spokane Valley, WA 99216

This is a community outreach event for the Spokane County Sheriff’s K9 Unit, sponsored by S.C.O.P.E. It is an opportunity for the community to get to know the dogs and handlers, and see them demonstrate the skills that they use each day to keep our community safe.

There will also be an easy two mile walk for the family to enjoy around Mirabeau Park, games and fun for the whole family, a BBQ for all to enjoy, and plenty of raffle and silent auction items to bid on. Registered walkers will get a t-shirt.
About the Event

This event is the culmination of a lot of hard work and dedication of private citizens and community businesses who want to show their support for our K9 Unit. The funds raised at this event will be donated directly to our K9 Unit to help provide additional training opportunities and equipment. We are extremely thankful for the generosity of our community and with your continued help; the Spokane County Sheriff's K9 Unit will continue to provide professional and well-trained K9 services.
