UPDATE: One Suspect Arrested, Detectives Still Need Your Help 

 

Earlier this morning, Detective Keyser arrested 38-year-old Felipe E. Murillo for Robbery 2nd Degree.  Murillo was identified as the driver of the Cadillac which has also been seized for evidence however, the second suspect remains unidentified. 

Since the robbery, it is believed Murillo and/or the unidentified second suspect have been selling or pawning the stolen DeWalt power hand tools. 

Please look at the attached photo of Felipe E. Murillo.  Anyone who has purchased DeWalt tools from him recently or can help identify the second male suspect is urged to call Detective Kirk Keyser at 509-477-6611, reference #10084395.

Detectives Attempt to Identify Robbery Suspects Who Stole Over $1,800 Worth of DeWalt Power Tools 


Spokane County Sheriff’s Office Major Crime Detectives are investigating a robbery which occurred at North 40 Outfitters in Mead last Friday.  


On June 22, 2018, at approximately 9:50 a.m., two suspects stole approximately $1850 in DeWalt power hand tools from North 40 Outfitters in Mead. 

When an employee of the store attempted to get the license plate of the vehicle, the driver drove forward, striking the employee.  After being hit, the employee, fearing injury, moved and the suspects fled the scene. 

The images accompanying this information, taken from store security video, shows the two male suspects and their vehicle, believed to be a gold Cadillac STS 4-door, possibly 2005-2006.  The Cadillac did not have license plates but appeared to possibly have a temporary (paper) permit in the rear window. 

Suspect 1 (driver) is described as a white male, stocky build, possibly in his 40’s, wearing a gray baseball cap, a clean white sleeveless T-shirt and blue jeans with a black belt.  He has a tattoo on his left shoulder, which was described as being in the shape of a trophy cup, and a tattoo on his neck.

Suspect 2 (passenger) is described as a white male, younger (late 20’s to 30’s) with a full beard, wearing a dark gray baseball cap with sunglasses on the bill, tan button up wool type long sleeved shirt and blue jeans.
