
Help Us Welcome Five New Spokane County Sheriff’s Deputies
On July 30, 2018, Spokane County Sheriff’s Office Undersheriff Jeff Tower swore in five new Deputies who are scheduled to start their academy training early next month.
Deputy Joseph Adams: Deputy Adams recently completed his service as a United States Army HHB Armorer and is originally from Bakersfield, California.
Deputy Sue Caple-Melton: Deputy Caple-Melton has a Master’s Degree in Literacy and was previously employed as a teacher with Spokane Public Schools since 2015.
Deputy Michael Howery: Deputy Howery recently moved to the Spokane area from San Jose, California where he was employed as a Journeyman Electrician.
Deputy Philip Labrie: Deputy Labrie served in the United States Air Force and was previously employed as a Senior Accountant at Clearwater Paper Corporation since 2011.
Deputy John Ouellette: Deputy Ouellette attended Mead High School and recently completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice at Eastern Washington University.
Please help us welcome our five newest Deputies and their families to our community and our law enforcement family. They will be attending the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission Basic Law Enforcement Academy which begins August 8, 2018.
