UPDATE: Auto Theft Task Force Detectives Arrest Suspect in Tractor Theft Investigation

Yesterday Spokane Regional Auto Theft Task Force (SRATTF) Detectives, continuing to investigate the theft of a stolen Kubota tractor, arrested 37-year-old Zane E. Lumpkin in the 5000 block of N. Havana.  Lumpkin was transported and booked into the Spokane County Jail for Possession of Stolen Property 1st Degree, Trafficking in Stolen Property 1st Degree and Theft 1st Degree.

The Kubota tractor, reported stolen from the Stevens County area, was recovered by SRATTF Detectives on August 15, 2018 after they received several tips and related information from members of our community.

The Spokane Regional Auto Theft Task Force would again like to thank everyone in the community who remained vigilant or who provided information to Detectives, ultimately leading to the tractor’s recovery and yesterday’s arrest.

The Spokane Regional Auto Theft Task Force is comprised of investigators from the Washington State Patrol, Spokane Police Department and the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office.
