
Three New Lateral Deputies Join the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office
Please Welcome/Congratulate them and their Families to our Community
Wednesday morning, January 16, 2019, Spokane County Sheriff Ozzie Knezovich swore in three new Lateral Deputies. They began their orientation/training immediately and will soon be out in patrol, serving our community.
Deputy Jose Carrillo: Deputy Carrillo, from Fontana California, is 34-years-old. He previously worked as a Deputy for the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Office, beginning in 2006. In addition to patrol, he was a member of the Motor (motorcycle) Unit, a Field Training Officer (FTO) and a Firearms Instructor.
Deputy Tom Donahue: Deputy Donahue is 26-years-old and originally from Florida. He served as a Patrol Officer for three years with the Anchorage Police Department.
Deputy Vince McKenzie: Deputy McKenzie is 33-years-old and is from Lake Elsinore, California. He comes to us from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office where he has served since 2012. Prior to beginning his law enforcement career, he served in the United State Marine Corps where he obtained the rank of Sergeant.
