
Motorcycle Rider Succumbs to Injuries after Crash
A motorcycle rider crashed while attempting to stand on his seat Sunday evening and sustained life-threatening injuries. He was rushed to the hospital, but despite everyone’s efforts, he later succumbed to his injuries.
On August 25, 2019, at approximately 6:40 p.m., Spokane County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a reported motorcycle crash in the 6900 block of N. Wall.
Arriving Deputies learned from witnesses the adult male driver of the Harley Davidson was traveling north on Wall when he attempted to stand on the seat, slipped and fell. The rider was wearing a helmet, but it was not securely fastened.
The motorcycle continued northbound and struck a parked pickup truck.
The rider was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries where he was later pronounced deceased.
The Spokane County Medical Examiner’s Office will release the name of the driver at a later time, when appropriate to do so.
