[ARCHIVED] Thousands of Boat/Watercraft Registrations Expire on June 30th – Vessel Decals Must be Renewed!

SPOKANE COUNTY, June 28, 2016 – The Fourth of July weekend is just around the corner and so is the deadline for renewing boat and watercraft registration decals. In Washington State, all boat registrations expire on June 30th. The State Dept. of Licensing no longer mails renewal notices.

Boat registrations can be renewed either online or in person at a local vehicle licensing office. If renewing at an office, please make sure to note the registration number on the bow of the boat and take that information with you.

If you need to renew quickly, some local offices are open on Saturday. A list of Spokane area licensing offices is available at www.spokanecounty.org/auditor.

Boat owners can sign up to receive email renewal notices for their boat on the Department of Licensing website, www.dol.wa.gov.
