Previously Trespassed Homeless Male Exposes Himself to Employee
A transient/homeless male was contacted by an employee and told to leave the business. The male, previously trespassed from the location, pulled his pants down, bent over and exposed his buttocks to the employee before leaving. Deputies contacted the suspect and arrested him for Trespassing 1st Degree, Indecent Exposure, and a valid misdemeanor warrant for Disorderly Conduct.
On October 15, 2019, at approximately 9:30 a.m., Spokane Valley Deputies responded to the report of a person with a weapon call at a business located in the 9200 block of E. Sprague in Spokane Valley.
The caller, an employee, stated there was a male, later identified as 39-year-old David B. P. Buswell, sleeping inside the laundromat. As she went to contact Buswell, she recognized him and knew he had previously been trespassed from the location. She woke Buswell up and told him to leave. Buswell picked up a piece of rebar and swung it around but not at the employee.
She told Buswell to put the rebar down. Buswell turned, pulled his pants down and bent over, exposing his bare buttocks to her, before walking away.
Buswell was located a short distance away and detained. A check of his name revealed an active misdemeanor warrant for disorderly conduct. Buswell has been arrested multiple times, dating back nearly 20 years.
Buswell was transported and booked into the Spokane County Jail for Indecent Exposure, Criminal Trespass 1st Degree, and his misdemeanor warrant.
