
Male Suspected of Stealing Handgun

Spokane Valley Investigative Unit (SVIU) Detectives are attempting to identify the suspect in this photo regarding the theft of a handgun from American Pawn and Loan.

On January 10, 2020, at approximately 9:45 a.m., Spokane Valley Deputies responded to American Pawn and Gun located at 8112 E. Sprague for the report of a stolen firearm.
Employees stated they noticed a handgun, Rossi .357 revolver, was missing from one of the gun cases. After a search determined the pistol wasn’t sold or held for a customer, they began reviewing their security footage.
The video showed on January 7, 2020, at approximately 2:45 p.m., the male in the photo arrived at the store in what appears to be a white, late 1990’s-early 2000’s Toyota Tacoma. He entered the store and began looking at several different items.
While the employee’s sight was obscured, the male is observed reaching over the counter and removing the pistol from the case. He places the handgun in his pocket before walking over to contact the employee.
After an extended conversation, the male leaves the business with the stolen firearm in his pocket.
The male is described as a white male, in his late 30’s, approximately 6’02”, 225-240 lbs. with brown hair and beard.
