SVPD P-Release

Young Female Reports Suspicious Male Exposes Himself

An 11-year-old female reported a male, sitting in a blue pickup, called her over to his vehicle.  When she got closer, she noticed the male’s genitals were exposed, and she ran away.  If you can help identify this male, you are urged to call Crime Check at 509-456-2233.

On February 4, 2020, at approximately 8:40 a.m., a young female reported she was walking to school near 26th and Glenn when a male, still seated in his truck, asked if she could help him.  As the girl continued her walk, she observed the male’s genitals were exposed, and he appeared to be touching himself.

The young female did the correct thing and quickly ran away.  A resident in the area observed a portion of this incident and promptly reported the information and helped the girl who was not injured but understandably upset.  The male drove away and was last seen traveling west on 26th, toward University.

The male is described as white, in his 30’s with a goatee, possibly red in color.  He was wearing a gray hoodie, style sweatshirt.

The vehicle is described as a blue pickup, possibly Dodge, with a matching fiberglass canopy.

Anyone with information regarding similar incidents in the area or can help identify this male is asked to call Crime Check at 509-456-2233, reference #10015371.
