All “public” playgrounds, including swing sets, climbing walls and workout stations within Spokane County will be closed due to the challenges of effectively disinfect these areas and maintaining social distancing guidelines while using these facilities. Furthermore, the public is discouraged from using site furnishings such as park benches.
The following park and recreational facilities will remain open to use:
• Tennis / Pickleball / Basketball / Sand Volleyball Courts
• Skate Parks
• Golf Courses
• Trails
• Sports fields
• Open Space / Natural Areas
• Parks (grass areas, walking paths)
• ORV Parks
