On July 11, 2020, at approximately 10:15 p.m., Spokane Valley Deputies responded to the report of a male chasing and threatening people in a parking lot located in the 10400 block of E. Sprague in Spokane Valley.
The male, later identified as 27-year-old Sheldon L. Brown, was said to be armed with a knife. Arriving Deputies learned Brown ran south, across Sprague. He was described as wearing black shirt and blue pants.

Brown charged toward the victims yelling, “I’m going to stab you in the chest!”. One victim, a female, and her infant got in her car as Brown chased the two male victims.
All three victims stated they feared for their lives.
