Major Crimes Detectives Attempting to Identify Robbery Suspects

Spokane Valley Major Crimes Detectives are attempting to identify two female robbery suspects who assaulted a store employee during the theft of alcohol.

On June 28, 2020, at approximately 9:15 p.m., Spokane Valley Deputies responded to the report of a robbery at Sam’s Stop and Shop, located at 14705 E. Mansfield Avenue in Spokane Valley.

When Deputies arrived, the employees explained two female suspects entered the store.  One employee observed a suspect, the “white” female, place liquor in her purse.  The two suspects attempted to leave the store without paying for the alcohol and were confronted by the employees.

The suspect would not open her bag, and suddenly, both suspects bolted for the door, attempting to push their way past the employees.

An altercation ensued, and both suspects punched one of the employees multiple times in the head.

One suspect is described as a white female with long brown hair, and wearing a blue hoodie and jean shorts.  The second suspect was described as a black female with two buns in her hair, wearing a black hoodie and jeans.

The bag was recovered and found to contain a bottle of SKY vodka and a Hennessey whiskey bottle belonging to the store.

Both employees declined medical attention.

The suspects were last seen eastbound on Mansfield.

If you have any information regarding this robbery or can help identify either one of the suspects, you are asked to call Detective Meyer at 509-477-3159, reference #10083229.
