On Friday July 29, 2016, at approximately 2:40 a.m., Spokane County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a robbery with a knife call at the Zip Trip located at 711 W. Hastings in Spokane County.
Deputy Nathan Booth arrived within minutes and learned a white male, entered the store and demanded money and Swisher Sweet cigars while brandishing a knife. The suspect displayed the knife but did not harm the employee who complied with the demand. He was last seen leaving the store on foot and running east.
Additional patrol deputies quickly set up a perimeter but the suspect was not located.
The suspect is described as a white male, late teens or early twenties, with brown hair, wearing a blue “skull print” mask covering his face. He was wearing a white and black “DC” shirt, black shorts and grey running shoes.
No vehicle was observed at the time of the robbery.
