[ARCHIVED] Greenbluff Volunteers "Team Up to Clean Up".

TU-Greenbluff-Volunteers

The Greenbluff area in north Spokane County received a healthy dose of spring cleaning during the 8th Annual “Keep Greenbluff Green” event.  On Tuesday, April 27th a group of 25 people came together to pick up litter…bags and bags of litter!  The group included members of the Junior Grange (ages 5-14), the Greenbluff Grange (adults), some BECU Credit Union employees, Boy Scouts, and enthusiastic neighbors!

The annual event is made possible by these wonderful volunteers – and “Team Up to Clean Up” a joint litter campaign by the Spokane County Regional Solid Waste System, Geiger Work Crews, and partially funded by a grant from the Washington State Department of Ecology.  We’ll provide the litter grabbers, safety vests, bags and disposal!  Interested in getting outside for a good cause?  To learn more, go to Team Up to Clean Up
