Missing Vulnerable Juvenile Female and Male

Can you help us find Hailly L. Bernard and Patrick G. Kauffman?

Spokane County Sheriff’s Deputies are attempting to locate two missing/vulnerable juveniles, 12-year-old Hailly L. Bernard and 14-year-old Patrick G. Kauffman.  Both Bernard and Kauffman sneaked out of their homes, located in/near the town of Fairfield, during the night. They are believed to be traveling together, but that has not been confirmed.

If you have seen Hailly L. Bernard or Patrick G. Kauffman or know of their location, you are asked to call Crime Check at 509-456-2233, reference #10125479, or #10125509.

On September 20, 2021, the families of Bernard and Kauffman called to report their children as runaways.  Both Hailly and Patrick are friends, and it appears both left their homes during the overnight hours without permission.

Neither of them showed up at school today and attempts to locate them have been unsuccessful thus far.  It is not known if the pair are traveling together, but it appears from initial information they may have started together.  Neither family knows where they may be going and are concerned for their welfare.

Hailly L. Bernard is described as a 12-year-old female, approximately 5’02”, thin build and brown hair.   It is not known what clothing she was wearing when she left home.

Patrick G. Kauffman is described as a 14-year-old male, approximately 5’07”, 160 lbs., with red hair and blue eyes.  He was last seen wearing a camo sweatshirt with gray sleeves (pictured) and camo pants.   In the photo, Patrick is wearing glasses, but he is not currently wearing them.

If you have seen Hailly L. Bernard or Patrick G. Kauffman or know of their location, you are asked to call Crime Check at 509-456-2233, reference #10125479, or #10125509.
