
Traffic Investigators at the scene of a One-Vehicle Crash
Spokane County Sheriff’s Deputies and Traffic Unit Investigators are at the scene of a one-vehicle, single occupant crash on W. Medical Lake Four Lakes Rd, near I-90. The driver, and only occupant of the vehicle, was transported to the hospital with what was initially believed to be serious, possibly life-threatening, injuries.
On November 10, 2021, at approximately 7:40 am, Spokane County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a reported one-vehicle rollover crash on W. Medical Lake Four Lakes Rd. and W. Silver Lake Rd.
The adult male driver was transported to the hospital for additional treatment for what was initially reported as serious and potentially life-threatening injuries.
Due to the seriousness of the injuries, Traffic Unit Investigators were called to the scene.
W. Medical Lake Four Lakes Rd. is closed between W. Taylor Rd. and S. Granite Lake Rd. W. Silver Lake Road is closed from W. Medical Lake Four Lakes Rd. to S. Murphy Rd. while this incident is investigated.
SIRT Team Volunteers are at the scene to assist with traffic control.
The roadways are estimated to be opened by 10:30 – 11:00 am.
Initial information indicates the vehicle was traveling in a southerly direction on W. Medical Lake Four Lakes Rd., toward S. Granite Lake Rd. when the driver lost control and hit the embankment. The cause of this crash is not yet known, but at this time, impairment is not believed to be a factor.
