Environmental Services' offices will be closed on Thursday, November 25, 2021 and Friday, November 26, 2021. However, while all three Transfer Stations: North County, Spokane Valley and the Waste-to-Energy Facility will be closed on Thanksgiving Day - they will reopen for business on Friday, November 26, 2021.
Spokane County’s transfer stations are located in the Valley at 3941 N. Sullivan Road (south of Trent Avenue across from the Spokane Industrial Park) and in the North at 22123 N. Elk-Chattaroy Road. The County's facilities are now open for Winter Hours from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday – Friday and 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Saturday – Sunday. The City of Spokane operates the Waste to Energy (WTE) Facility Recycling & Disposal Site which is located at 2900 S. Geiger Blvd (west of downtown Spokane across from the Washington State Patrol office). The WTE recycling and disposal site is open from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., 7 days a week. All services are available during all open hours.
