Major Crimes Detectives Begin Death Investigation

 

Spokane County Sheriff’s Office Deputies and Major Crimes Detective are in the initial steps of a death investigation on N. Hayford Road.

 

On December 2, 2021, at approximately 10:10 a.m., Spokane County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of a deceased person in the area of N. Hayford Road and W. Balmer Road.  

 

Deputies located a deceased person, immediately secured the scene, and contacted Major Crimes Detectives.

 

Detectives are now in the initial phase of the investigation as they work to determine the identity of the deceased and the facts of what occurred.  

 

We will provide an update as soon as Investigators have factual information to release. 

 

Please avoid the area and allow Detectives to conduct their investigation safely.
