Spokane County Sheriff’s Office Major Crime Detectives are investigating the death of an infant at a residence located in the 19600 block of East Wellesley in Spokane County.

Deputies were the told family arrived back at their residence on Sunday night after attending a party at a friend’s house. The parents fell asleep in the living room with the infant while their 11-year-old juvenile son went to sleep in his bedroom. When they awoke, they found the infant not breathing and called 911.
A search warrant was obtained for the residence and detectives spent most of yesterday processing the scene for evidence and conducting interviews.
