[ARCHIVED] County road crews work overtime to plow and sand following storm.

After Tuesday’s storm, Spokane County road crews are working to clear primary arterials and emergency routes. This will include working until late in the evening to ensure that these roads are clear and icy areas have been sanded before another round of snow arrives later this week. In the unincorporated areas, especially to the south and west, crews are pushing back snow drifts to keep the flow of traffic moving. If the snow holds off for another day or two, county crews are hoping to begin clearing hill side residential streets. To see how crews are progressing on plowing, go to www.spokanecounty/publicworks and check out the Snow Activity Map.
