[ARCHIVED] County Office Closures for Juneteenth Observance

SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. – In observance of the Juneteenth holiday, Spokane County offices will be closed on Monday, June 20, 2022.  Offices in the County Courthouse, Public Safety Building, Public Works Building, Veterans Services, and SCRAPS will be closed.  

All department of vehicle licensing offices in Spokane County, including the office in the County Courthouse, will also be closed on Monday, June 20, 2022. Re-opening to the public on Tuesday, June 21, 2022.

The Spokane Valley and North County Transfer Stations as well as The City of Spokane’s Waste-to-Energy facility will remain open to serve the public. 

With the weather predicted to be some-what pleasant, the three-day weekend may be the perfect opportunity to visit some of Spokane County’s wonderful properties. 

  • Play all three Spokane County golf courses
    • Latah Creek Golf Course – (509) 448-1212
    • Liberty Lake Golf Course – (509) 255-6233
    • MeadowWood Golf Course – (509) 255-9539
  • Liberty Lake Campground – (3707 S. Zephyr Road, Liberty Lake)

Please note: Advance reservations can be made online no later than 2 days prior to the arrival date. Within 2 days, please contact the Campground Host at (509) 477-7274 for more information.
